RECYCLE FOR ETC

Recycle for ETC!

Does your family, your school, your company use a lot of printer cartridges? What happens when they are empty? Through US Recycling you can recycle your cartridges and support ETC at the same time. It's easy to do. US Recycling will provide you with a collection box, mailing labels, a price list, and fliers. All you have to do is place the box in a prominent place and let people know about the program. When the box is full you place a pre-paid UPS label on the box and call UPS.

To get started follow the link above, contact ETC, or contact Kristen Bennett at US Recycling, (888-628-3639, kristenb@usrecleink.com).

BE A VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISER

Kim Terpening and her friends in Homer, Alaska have fun contests and help ETC at the same time. Two years ago it was the "Queen Mum Look-a-like Contest." Last year it was "Extreme Makeover". We can't wait to see what they come up with this year! With what they collect they have been able to sponsor a Women's Group and more!

ETC board member Colleen Thapalia decided to run in a 5K race. She used JustGiving to raise over $1300 in pledges to ETC. You can use FirstGiving for any kind of event such as weddings, races, or memorials. You can do it yourself or we can do it for you. Click on the button or give us a call for more information.

BRING ETC INTO THE CLASSROOM

In collaboration with Cornell University's South Asia Program Educate the Children has designed a curriculum for teaching 6th Grade children in the United States and elsewhere about Nepal and its development challenges. Called To Sustain Life: Nepal, Water and Development, the curriculum is composed of five 40 minute modules that cover the history, geography, economics and science of water in Nepal. Contact ETC or the South Asia program for more information about how to incorporate this educational experience into your classroom or that of your child.
